In 2006, Baylor Medical Center at Irving earned the designation of accredited Chest Pain Center by the Society of Chest Pain Centers.
Accreditation renewed: February 2008. The Joint Commission has been accrediting hospitals for more than 50 years. Its accreditation is a nationwide seal of approval that indicates a hospital meets high performance standards.

The 100 Great Nurses award focuses on nurses’ qualities as role models in leadership, service to the community, compassion as a caregiver, and significant contributions to nursing. Teresa Cockerill, R.N was named to this list from Baylor Irving.
Baylor Medical Center at Irving received a Texas Health Care Quality Improvement Award of Excellence from TMF Health Quality Institute (TMF), the Medicare quality improvement organization for Texas. The award recognizes hospitals that have improved their initial baseline performance on specific national quality measures related to acute myocardial infarction, heart failure, and pneumonia.
