In addition to perfoming routine colonoscopies, Baylor Plano's technology allows for a wide variety of procedures to be performed in the GI lab, including upper GI endoscopies, esophageal motility studies, esophageal pH studies, liver biopsies, ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) with gallstone removal and stent placements.

Baylor Plano also has new technology for the treatment of Barrett's espohagus, a complication of GERD, or acid reflux, which is prevalent in the United States mainly because of the obesity epidemic.
